Home of Colorado Summer Collegiate
Baseball.
We had fourteen teams last summer
that are affiliated with the (NBC) National Baseball Congress .
We have some new teams interested in joining the league in 2011.
All
of the teams may elect to duel affiliate and join the (AABC) American
Amateur Baseball Congress. This duel affiliation allows Colorado
the capability of sending four teams to major tournaments, three to NBC
and one to AABC. Fields
became available due to the support through the local parks and
recreation, and assignors.
Without their support our league would not be possible.
Thank
you for the support of all coaches and field assignors to make this
possible. We have changed our name
ten years
ago due to the requests from the NBC and the NCAA. Once known as
the Colorado Semi-Pro Baseball League the name was changed to Rocky
Mountain Baseball League. The teams involved in the league cover
the Denver Metro area and Western Slope. This league
was established for local college players to
come home for the
summer and have a place to play and gain experience.
The league is formatted for each team to play all teams two times, equaling twenty six league games. In addition, some teams will fill their schedules with non league games played with teams both in and out of our league. As always this should be another exciting year and a competitive one. One final and closing note. We will continue to be all all wood bat league. We may be adding new teams this year from the Denver metro area. You can reach us at:
